BMO supports Canadians impacted by wildfires

We’re here to help our customers through the uncertainty caused by the wildfires throughout Canada. If you and your family have been affected, you can reach out to discuss your needs and get support through these tough times.

How we’re supporting customers impacted by the wildfires:

We’re offering financial relief to customers including: 

  • Deferral of payments on certain personal Loans and Mortgages.
  • Deferral of personal Credit Card payments.
  • Fast tracking of Creditor Insurance claims for clients whose employment is impacted by the wildfires.
  • No holds on insurance cheques provided they are payable to the customer only and deposited in the Branch.

If you are a Business Banking or Commercial Banking customer with a dedicated BMO Relationship Manager, you can contact your BMO Relationship Manager or Customer Services Officer for support.

How you can help 

Customers can donate to the Canadian Red Cross online at www.redcross.ca or call 1-800-418-1111.

Tax receipts: When you donate to the Canadian Red Cross, you will receive an official tax receipt for donations of $20 or more.
