BMO Total Look is a no-fee online money management tool that helps you save time and simplify your financial life. It gives you a clear idea of your financial picture, including checking and savings accounts, online investments, credit cards, mortgages, loans and more – even if they’re not with us – all in one secure** location, with one password.
There are many ways BMOÂ Total Look can help you simplify your life. You can manage your account balances and history from both BMO and non-BMO accounts in one convenient location, personalize a budget, set goals and easily track your progress to stay on track.
To access BMO Total Look, log in to BMO Digital Banking, select BMO Total Look in Quick Actions, then get started. That’s it! You are now ready to start adding your accounts and using BMO Total Look.
At this time, these accounts are not automatically added to your BMO Total Look dashboard. They can be manually added by selecting the Link Account tab in the BMO Digital Banking app, selecting or searching for the BMO investment account you want to add, entering the account information and selecting Link Account.
It’s easy to add accounts in BMO Total Look. Simply select BMO Total Look, then select Link Account and either enter the account you wish to add or select from a list of popular accounts. Enter your online login information for the account being added and select Link Account. Then, simply select Continue and you’re all set! The account will instantly appear within Total Look.
When adding non-BMO accounts, the data that displays in BMOÂ Total Look is provided by third parties and is read only.
It’s easy to edit accounts in BMO Total Look. Select BMO Total Look and go to Settings then Account Settings. Choose your site name to get to Edit Credentials. Enter credentials for this site and select Update and you're all set.
To set a budget in BMO Total Look, select the three dots and choose Spending, then under Budget select Create Budget. You can track your deposits and income and spending summary, along with your budget details.
Every time you access BMO Total Look, your account information will attempt to automatically refresh. BMO Total Look will pull the past 90 days of transaction activity. To prevent BMO Total Look from missing any transactions for accounts, we recommend accessing the BMO Total Look tab at least once every 90 days. If BMO Total Look is not able to receive an update from your external financial provider, your account will not refresh, and you will receive an error message. The error message will explain the issue and suggest actions you can take to resolve it. You can also try to refresh your account again at any time.
From Accounts, select the three dots and choose Account Settings. Scroll down and you may Close/Delete an account. To remove a non-BMO account, go to Settings then Account Settings. Select the desired account and then select Delete Site. Your BMO accounts that were pre-populated cannot be removed.
The bank’s privacy and security policies apply to BMO Total Look. The bank does not store any of your non-BMO account information, and the information displayed in BMO Total Look is read only.

For any non-BMOÂ account data disputes, you need to contact the account provider directly.
