Ontario has laws that set standards for accessibility, under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005. The first of these, which became law in 2008, are the Accessibility Standards for Customer Service (Ontario Regulation 429/07). These important standards are designed to create a barrier-free and accessible Ontario by 2025.
