When eligible Every Day Banking accounts footnote star * drop below $0, you can take up to noon that day to bring your account back to the positive and avoid NSF fees.
- You’re automatically enrolled in balance alerts – no need to sign up.
- When your balance dips below $0, eligible accounts footnoote star * will get an alert through email, text or BMO Mobile app notification.
- Manage and customize your alert preferences by signing into online banking.

Sign into the BMO Mobile Banking App.
- Step 1
Go to the More menu and select Alerts.
- Step 2
Review your contact details, select Quick Setup and choose the alerts you’d like to receive.
