Select a contact

Let us know from whom you’d like to request money, how much and the account you’d like the money deposited into.

Add a message to your contact

Review your request and tap send request and you’re all set!

Receive money from overseas with wire transfers

You can receive money from around the globe through a wire transfer. Just provide the sender with some of your banking details, and the money will land in your account within days.

Here’s the information you’ll need to give to the sender:
  • Your account number
  • Your BMO branch phone number, address and transit number
  • Your bank’s name: Bank of Montreal
  • BMO’s institution number: 001
  • BMO SWIFT BIC (if the money is coming from overseas): b o f m c a m 2
For wire transfers coming from the U.S., you’ll also need to include:
  • Correspondent bank: Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., New York
  • SWIFT Code: p n b p u s 3 n n y c
  • ABA: 026005092
