The Government of Canada provides a list of scheduled deposit dates for recurring Government of Canada benefit payments, including some provincial and territorial benefit programs administered by the Canada Revenue Agency. If you’ve signed up for direct deposit, payments will be automatically deposited into your bank account on these dates.

The easiest way to order cheques is to sign on to BMO Online Banking and follow these steps:

1. Click Accounts.

2. Select your Bank Account, then select Account services.

3. Click Order Cheques. For Small Business customers, click Re-Order Cheques.

4. Follow instructions.

Please note: only accounts with cheque writing privileges can order cheques.

To set up direct deposits for your pay, download the BMO Direct Deposit form and follow these steps:

1. Complete the form online.

2. Save or print the form.

3. Attach a void cheque or include your account number, financial institution number and branch transit number.

   • You can find this information on your cheques or by signing on to Online Banking.

   • Click Accounts.

   • Select your bank account and click Void Cheque.

4. Send the completed form to the payer.
